Lions and Tigers and Snails, Oh My!

After seeing these on the news today I will never complain about the snails I have in my garden ever again.

They're in the wild in Miami-Dade County. Big problem for sure.

Mmmmm, considered a delicacy that can eat paint and stucco off houses. Neat! Next time I need to strip the paint off my house I will also be able to have a BBQ.

HOLY CRAP!

I just read that article. Who would have ever thought they were a danger to humans due to their ravenous desire to eat rat poop.

How come thousands of chinese food restaurant patrons aren't getting meningitis? Does cooking them kill the brain swelling pathogen ?

If you use that 9 iron, make sure you wear a face shield, as we wouldn't want the splatter to take you out for a few weeks by having your brain swell any larger than it already is...

It's my pot and I'll stir it if I want to. If you're not careful, I'll stir your's as well!

Got used to seeing very similar snails like these every day when I lived in South Africa. Very common in the country.

Parents said one of their most memorable meals in Africa was huge snails and what we call Guinea Pigs.
