Re:Line X

If you're refering to your Dodge dealer, mine quoted me $700 for an over the rail on an 8 foot bed.

I called the closest Line-X shop (happened to be the same one the dealer drives the trucks to :) price was around $400. ;D

Maybe it's just me, but $300 for the dealer's lot jockey to drive my truck 5 miles each way seems a little excessive.

Check your yellow pages for the closest Line-x installer, that's what your dealer does.

Re:Line X

Mine was $450 Canadian and color coded to match my truck its a little dirty now but cleans up like new. I have found the Line-x to be not so great as compared to bullhide the line x is harder and stuff really slides around in the back where as my bullhide was sticky and stuff never moved. I find line-x to be as slippery as a drop in liner. I am happy with it but I will get a bedrug to hide it later.

Re:Line X

I have a rhino from the dealer--$375 longbed, over the rail. Same price as local shops. I decided to go through the dealer and have my truck already ready all at once--plus it was just added to my total truck costs. I wasnt sure of the difference between rhino and line-x when I bought it (still dont) but have been extremely happy with it. Battery acid and grease has stood up well!! Does anyone know anything about the Rhino Restorer to keep the coat looking brand new?

Re:Line X

I think some of it depends on the local market.

Down here, mine was $455.00 plus tax for a long box over the rail.

Like others have said, shop around - play the game.
