Lil Red Express questions...

i have a 79 lil red express that i will hopefully begin a resto on. i'm wondering if parts from a 84 d150 will fit, such as front fenders, doors, steering/brake parts etc. Thanks!

I am just guessing [not what you need] but I think you are ok from earlier then your truck right on up to 93 for most of the parts. The major overhaul of the Ram came in 94 with only some cosmetics and external looks...headlight bezels, grills etc.

I think that body 'style' lasted for 26 yrs.

I'm pretty sure I know that guy with the cummins little red express. Rode 4 wheelers a couple weeks ago with him.

Neat trucks none the less.

i thought so too just want to confirm my suspicions and figure out if its worth keepin the 84 or if i would be better off selling it. all depends on what parts i can swap. i pretty much want everything from the firewall forward including doors.

The Lil' red trucks will not take the 81 to 93 body panels... the doors & fenders you are looking for are for 72 to 79. The hood will work from 79 to 93... and the cowl.
here is a site to help you along.

Good luck to ya.
