I have been a part of this Organization for the past ten months and it has been a great learning experience for me. However, at this point I wish to persue alternative employment opportunities. I feel you should have no trouble finding a replacement. Please accept this letter as my official resignation effective April 28, 2006.

I have enjoyed the work and association with my fellow employees.

Jayme,

I modified it slightly and corrected some of your spelling and punctuation.

Ultimately it is up to you though.

I think it looks good.

Chris,

They carry water, lots of it! Each one totes 1350 gallons (12015lbs. just in water! ) that supplies two high volume high pressure washers. They're also flexible enough to provide water to UHP units that blast at over 36K psi and can cut through steel and concrete.

The trucks themselves are gorgeous.... 2002+ Sterling Acterra M6500's with none other than a ISB5.9 in them (though the ratings are slightly higher than the Dodge variety). Chromed vertical exhaust, twin 45 gallon tanks, (6) beautifully polished Alcoa 22.5 x 10's.... I could keep going.

The trucks themselves are actually only worth about $63K once they are upfitted. It's the specialty equipment inside them that bumps up the value so much.

Don't that "specialty" stuff add up fast??

Here's what we do with our $100K truck

The blue KW is ours, the other truck is my Uncle's out in Iowa.

Hijack On,
Chris

Dear Mr. Sullivan:

I have been a part of this Organization for the past ten months and it has been a great learning experience for me. However, at this point I wish to persue alternative employment opportunities. I feel you should have no trouble finding an equally qualified replacement. Please accept this letter as my official resignation effective April 28, 2006.

I made one more little addition, I hope this is good enough now , i need to print it off and go to bed.

Four simple words for you from someone with firsthand experience ...... TAKE ... HER ... WITH ... YOU .

One important thing I don't see in the letter. No mention of the money that they owe you. I would have in writing how much money you determine they owe and ask nicely for clarification how they intend to handle that payment.

If the ball and chain is truly a "ball and chain", you should be chained in the first place. If it is a "can't wait to see her again", then I think you know what to do about it. PW said it just right - - TAKE . . . . HER . . . . WITH . . . YOU.

I think it was good that you reworked that "you should have no trouble finding a replacement" part. It kind of makes it sound like you are saying that a trained chimp could do your job...

I hope your not married! If you aren't, you're all good. Tell her she has two choices:

1) take it
2) leave it

Well , i delivered the letter to my boss personally this morning, and he called me up to his office before i left tonight , to try and convince me to stay (not happening) he tried the offer more money thing ( did i ask for money in my letter?) and basically asked me what i wanted to make me stay, and i told him there was nothing, that I had been presented with attractive opportunites elsewhere , and i wished to persue them while i was still young and able. He pried and prodded for another 30 mins after that , but i never agreed to it.

5verbob, the reason i left out the money owed , is i have been trying for months (the money is owed since october of 2005) to get paid , i tried the ladies at the front desk , who would normally take care of said payments, and when they wouldn't do anything (the money is owed from service calls with my own vehicle, but i do not have the work order numbers for them to apply the cost to, although the milage was recorded on the work order and the shop was paid for it) i went to the service manager , then to the vice president, I may bring it up later this week , but i doubt they will cough up the $$.

Thanks to everyone who helped!
