my brother was at one of his local Seattle, WA yuppie grocery stores getting some good healthy food for his newborn and wife, wore his leather jacket because it was cold. a girl in her early 20's was standing behind him in line and uttered in disgust "UGHH! You know they had to kill a cow to make that don't you?!"
"They had to kill it anyway, how else do you get the steak out?"

Ahhhh, he's so out of place in Seattle, it's entertaining. Soon he'll be joining the CTD world, we're looking for an old Scout, Bronco or Chevy 4x4 to swap a cummins into. Just though I'd share a yuppie story, it entertained me to no end.

Just tell her it was taken from a "Free-Range" cow that jumped in front of a Land Rover to protest having it's milk taken from her to use in Starbucks.

 

I would have looked at her and said "what makes you think we killed it" Then she really would have had a good reaction. Imagine that, a cow with no skin in the pasture.

I'm all for a nice steak but if she only knew how loud a tamato screams when you pick it from the vine.....
