LAY'D the Smacketh Down on a Jag!
On my travels to and from work I encounter many people wanting to run. Yesterday I encountered a woman in her mid 40's in a 4.0 liter Jag. Well she wanted a shot at the title and I gave it to here lined up at a light we both took off she immiedately pulled 1 car length on me my heart sunk! Then the mighty cummins pulled it back then put one on here I was ;D she was > up to 100 MPH I then put about 4 more on here and held it the race was great and I was truely amazed my truck pulled that car. It put up a good fight but the mighty cummins added another to its kill list!

Unfortunately, people are still dumb enough to race for slips. I don't race for money or slips. I race for fun. Pure and simple. And sometimes I do it just for laughs. You ever seen what a Z06 can do to a stock CTD? I like messing with performance cars just so I can see them take off and listen to their cars. Most guys who drive those things don't mind showing off a little. Vette owners are the easiest to mess with. Ford drivers are a little harder. It's almost impossible to get an 03 Cobra to play. >

I'm almost positive the 454 SS was only available in the smooth side bed. If it was an early model, it didn't even have OD. Not to take anything away from your kill...... ;D

Could have been a conversion the 454 SS wasn't the original text like the smooth side you are talking about, it was probably a 427 with 454 rocker covers
