Wow, Monday, almost noon and no one around since 3 yesterday. Oh well, thanks for the ph00 yesterday, RR1, but on the road. Cleaned the pot and made a small pot of coffee and one of ph00 - - haven't had time to scrounge up goodies.

Weather up here is quite a change from Florida - - VERY cool, but gorgeous. The leaves are just changing so we timed it perfect. Worked out this morning in the gym, now back home to get some stuff done with my son.

Y'all have a gudurn.

Bob

Top, you still know how to lead people!

Today, the culmination of Monday. Hiring Interviews to fill two positions. One applicant actually did the job on the Military side for near 30 years. Walk-in placement. NOPE! Do NOT tell the interview panel that you will work only so and so and that you will need guaranteed days off for pre-paid vacation reservations. Absolutely flabergasted me. I had my Shift Supervisors doing this Board. When they brought me the results, all I could do was hang my head.

Did get two strong candidates if they accept the offer!

Hey, Old Goat made it in this week. Good going, rascal.

Busy week chasing leaves. Amazing how a green tree at 6pm can be red the next morning. Enjoying some wonderful drives thru the Smokies and exploring the country stores. Some dazzling good food in some of them. Just finished by workout in the gym, then back to the house to blow leaves and spread some pine mulch. Been working on the rock wall - - them things are heavy. Heading to Maggie Valley tomorrow to visit friends and snoop around - - been a while since there. Probably track down some good apples while up that way.

No ph00 out, so put a pot on and grabbed a big mug and heading out to get attacked by leaves. Saw a nice black bear yesterday, but he wasn't interested in me, so me happy. ................................

1st snow in Anchorage and the valley last night, still snowing. Slush on top of water or ice on the roads made for a fun drive to work. 7 vehicles in the ditch so far.

Hi to all.

Cougar, those conditions are a major factor for why I chose to live where there is no snow, ice or otherwise. Just some lousy roads, but will take that over the s**w and other slippery conditions.
