Kids and guns at the NRA, Got to Love it.
Two Boys Suspended For Pointing Pencils Like Guns
And then on a more stupid,
or is it stupider note,
Notice little Christopher does not have his finger properly placed outside his pretend trigger guard, his pencil could accidentally discharge and make believe hurt someone.

The first thing they need to do is take this teacher that reported him and the principal who suspended him and smack him square in the mouth for being stupid.
What kid growing up in the 50's and even 60's didn't play for hours on end pretend being a GI, B-52 Bomber Pilot or some form of an American Military Hero.
If he didn't they would have probably thought he was Un-American with post WW-2, Korea and the Cold War going on.
I would bet the kids of today could not handle the Air Raid Sirens, huddling under desk or the thought of running for a bomb shelter, they would all be on anti-anxiety medications, we did, we survived and probably most of us have never run out and shot anyone, but was I scared? heck yes I was scared, I still remember the haunting sound of the Chrysler Air Raid Siren.
Back in the mid 50's I had an uncle Stanley and he was in the Marine Corps stationed at Camp Pendleton and he would give me and my older brother BDU's or I guess they were Fatigues back then, pup tents, bayonets, scabbards, web belts, tanker helmets, radio headsets, folding shovels, canteens, gas mask and even brought us Rats and we were the envy of all the soldiers in the neighborhood.
We has a decent amount of property for living in the city and we had fox holes and bomb craters all over the back yard but we had to promise to keep them in the back of the property after my dad came home from work and drive our car into one.
For some reason I keep thinking about this line from a famous movie,
We're not gonna make it, are we? People, I mean.
Who would have thought it would be a crime for young son to try and copy being a soldier like his HERO dad.
