BOMB means "better off modified baby!"

Some free mods include removing the turbo silencer ring, removing the black intake tube from the side of the fender that hooks up to you intake, and thats all I can think of. Neither of these are proven to give you more hp, they just let you hear your turbo sing. You can check for codes by turning the key to the "on" position three times and leaving in that position on the 3rd time. This will tell you if you have any codes. Not really a mod, just a diagnostic check.

Welcome to DTR! There really aren't any "free" mods that can be done to a 24v for more power......

I'll make you a heck of a deal on a concrete bedliner, but they're not free.

You'll notice 'WS6HUMMER' didn't respond to that Hoss. Apparently the site is attracting people with a higher smart level lately~!

The silencer ring is a ways down, but that site will offer TONS of good info about your truck.

You could also hack off the resonator (it looks like a catalytic converter) and the muffler and straight pipe the truck.

Thank you so much! This is a very useful link, made snatching the silencer ring very simple.

Is the resonater right before the muffler, can I bust it out like a cat? Whatever is before the muffler is all beat up, so if it has an element in it like a catalyitic converter it's definetly restricting my exhaust flow.
