just a bit curious

Do you all know what motors they put in the UPS trucks and FedEx, they sure seem to sound like cummins every time I hear one here on campus.

old fedex trucks were 12 valves and the newer ones are vp44 24 valves, if the coolant resevoir isnt all the way full they will shut off if you hit a bump in them.

UPS has a variety in their fleet of iron, most of the gassers are 4.3 chevy V-6, then they audited the 7.3, and the isb Cummins, and more recently the freightliner (sprinter) with the Merecedes in them.

Fedex has been pretty loyal with the Cummins, but as stated they are moving to the sprinter platform for the smaller applications.
