So far, no good. Just wrapped up "the Big One". Turned out good. Hopefully that's it for the day.

Good day to be in the A.C.

Mornin' all!

Still busy with summer up here North of North pole.

Bee in the upper 70s and 80s for the last week even with the rain. Humidity sux!.......

My little brother is in town for a couple weeks with his family. His visit should be short enough we won't kill each other.....

Stuck in jail for a bit longer.... Lots of OT lately..... Not much down time but the paychecks are nice.

Is that why the ph00 pot has this strange glow surrounding it? I kept my distance since I wasn't sure it it was radioactive or not.

Afternoon all. Heading into the last 2-week work blitz before leaving on vacation for points cooler. Yes, I have vacation short-timers.

Already triple digits here today. Fortunately the humidity isn't as bad as it could be so it only feel like it's in the low triple digits.
Working on a TV replacement in the RV this afternoon. Old one died (screen goes to white after about 30 seconds but comes back for 30 seconds after any volume/channel change) and the new-to-me old one is 3/8" taller than the space in the cabinet.

Hope you all find ways to stay cool this week.

Jay

Man, for a primordial character you sure have a weak stomach..........

Shorts, the ribs were good, had to add a bunch of Daves Insanity sauce to warm them up a bit......

The Glow is from the sun. Call it radiation or sunshine maximus.

Its tough keeping the liner in the phoo00 pot intact with what I added today.

Marc, sounds like your visits go like my visits with my brother. Short and sweet or Long and deadly.

Rib breakfast was awesome. Then hit Lowes for a piece of 3/16" strap so I could finally get my toolbox mounted - done! I DVRed the Brazil/US women's soccer game so I'm going to make a little late lunch and watch it. No spoilers!

That's kinda where the intention of my reply was aimed. Most firehouses require everyone on duty to take a turn at cooking a meal for everyone else. I was banned from the kitchen after my first try and told to NEVER set foot in there again! That was a direct order from the Chief, right in front of everyone else so there was no mis-interpretations. And right after we had started picking up the 1 1/2" hose line that we stretched to put out the fire. That was not a good day.

Yes I do. I used to have a cast iron stomach. Now it's more like paper mâché!
