For Jr.Firefighters
We sit there in the firehouse, for almost every call,
A curfue keeps us from being up all night,
Even though we know the call,
Some of us can ride the trucks,
But for thoes of us who can't,
We sit there in the shadows,
Waiting for our chance.
Some make fun, and poke with names,
But the lives of people, in danger,
Is not one of Lifes games.
Why do we sit here, to young to do a thing,
Because there something inside of us,
Most will never understand,
We rather sit and wait to clean the trucks,
Just to help give thoes in need a chance.
Some Firehouses think we're unnessecery,
But they cant be much more wrong,
Because we are the next generation
of thoes wanting to help,
We are Jounior members,
Thoes who roll the hose,
we may never get to get on scene,
but now the whole world knows,
that their is sumthing inside of all of us,
That places this in this world.
Were not on hte streets doing stupidness,
Because we know what that may cause,
and this is the message written from the heart.
Honor, thoes who die in duty, and thoes who fight this day...
But dont forget thoes on the sidelines,
That keep thoes high above, on their feet this day.
