Jeep trip
Jeep trip
Well I get to jet to California Thursday to do a little jeep trip on the rubicon. Nice to have friends with lots of frequent flyer miles!!! Decided to take the plunge and buy a digital video camera for the trip, been wanting one for a while. Got a video editing package for Christmas that I can now start to learn to use. I figure it will only take me about 6 years to get a video as good as the DTR video made!

have fun on the Rubicon, I went with some friends back in the late 70s, we got about 8 miles in and the guy who was leading us ripped his steering box off the frame of his CJ5, luckily he had a winch and wrapped several passes of his winch cable around the steering box and the frame and tied the whole thing back together, and it was good enough for him to drive the CJ back to Sacramento. Before that incident, he had made the trip 38 times without breaking anything, except body panels.
