You guys think any fire dept's will be picking this one up anytime soon? I know this vehicle has been talked about for a short time now. I'm curious your opinions.

Very cool,glad to see it,it will be yet another option with the great Cummins engine

 

Actually the Rescue is too small for fire work. Hard to explain this to possibly someone who hasn't been in a wildfire situation, but the pickup truck is the least desirable of all the vehicles. It's fine for hauling small ladders & air bottles, but it can't carry enough hose or water-foam to be beneficial. The Rescue is just a glorified 2500. Based on personal experience, the Unimog is the best all around choice.

Holy overpowered Batman! And if it's to be used by fire departments, why a jeep that looks more like a Hummer of all things????

 

Should give the Hummer a real run for the money..

 

If you are talking about offraod performance it should give the H2 a run for the money. An H1 will walk all over it offroad. Is the Jeep Rescue officially going to be produced? I only read that it was a possibility.
