AOL was trying to promote her tour so they had a poll. Here are the current results: 51% said she's a traitor. 28% said that they don't care what she says. 20% called her a patriot. On the question " how seriously do you take Fonda" 72% said not at all.16% said very seriously. 12% said somewhat. I don't think that those were the numbers she was after. It was obviously a promotional poll. It also had trivia questions about her on the same page and pictures of her life. She's not in touch with reality. She somehow thinks that she matters and that people like her.

What always cracks me up about the folks who get down on Fonda is that most of them were under 10 years old or not even born when she did her deeds. Most go on a bunch of information that has long ago been proven to be lies. A bunch of sheep. Many of the folks spewing their hate also claim to Christians, hypocrites of the worst kind in my opinion.
Most of the Vietnam vets I know, myself included, could care less about her, she was just protesting an unwinable war along with millions of other Americans. To call her a traitor for it just means you hate freedom.

well said. and there were a LOT of other protesters , she just happen to be famous and so became a target for folks against the protesters.

 

There is the "right" way to express your freedoms, and then there is her way. I remember her and the protests very well, and I don't recall anyone else with her notability going to Nam and sucking up the their military and government. If there are pics of other American, communist sympathizers , posing in Nam, please share them.
