That is emotionally charged issue and in the "war against terorism" age emotion is often used by poloticians to get laws passed that in saner times would never pass.

I relate this time to the 50's when a word was coined for this type of behavior "Mccarthyism". Throwing people in jail and denying what they say not with facts (because they may just be right and or smarter than you), but with emotionally charged rhetoric.

There was a short time in which reason ruled again in this country (between end of cold war and 911) but it has ended and the politicions have found a new enemy to strike enough fear in the hearts of our countrymen to be able to nation build again.

I am not saying you are wrong and she is right, but in the law there should be no emotional decsions just reason, but then how would we get enough support to pass laws like the patriot act (Ironic name if you ask me).


Oh and do you know that with the patriot act they can search your house and seize stuff while you are not there and YOU WILL NEVER BE TOLD.

Or just take politicains at there word as they are never known to lie (shrugs) or use the fbi to spy on people for political gain (points at a picture of Nixon )

...very true, she has the right to run her mouth till she runs out of breath. That is Freedom of Speech. Saying things that result in dead soldiers ... is NOT freedom of speech.
