When I was deployed to Qatar, it got up to 145 in the day time and I don't think it went below 100 at night. it was humid too. but 106 is pretty hot

It would have been hotter if you actually went to your in-laws' house to escape...

Here, in Phoenix, we've been topping 115 off & on for the last few weeks. I'd love to cool off to 106!

But, at LanceD menioned, it's nothing compared to the middle east!

I could not imagine living in anything over 100 without AC....It makes you wonder how the native americans did it 100yrs ago, and how the Iraqi's do it today!

Well it wasn't that hot back when the native americans did it. Global warming has caused it to become this hot.

If you think its hot where you are I’ve got it beat.
Bigblue lives about 100 miles south of me, lots of hot air coming from down there.

Reality is it hit 107 in Cleburne last week now its only a cool 95.

100+ degrees isn't that untoleratable if you do a few things.

1. take a few months to allow your body to adjust to the temperatures.
2. avoid frequent dramatic temperature swings.
3. keep a damp towel or shade handy.

I used to work in a cracker factory. There was a thermometer in the middle of the plant that wouldn't come off of 120 from June to September.
