Unhappy Its only a cat, but still hard a hard decision>

In 15 min I have to go to the Vets office to say goodbye to a member of the family, my long haired calico buddy Jinx. She's only been with us for 2 years but she brought so much joy with her. As tough as I try to act I have tears in my eyes. This house wont be the same without her.

Sorry to hear that. Not much of a cat fan myself, but still hate to see that happen. Post up some picks.

Prayers sent to your family for your loss.

Sorry, buddy. I'm not a big cat fan, but I know that a pet is part of the family. Stay strong.

No matter what kind of a pet it is, it is still rough to lose one. Been there, done that too many times so know what you are going thru. Sorry about that.

Had to do this a few [too many] times myself. Its never easy when its a pet.

Not to take anything away from your sorrow, I had a cat named Chunk...lived about 8 yrs longer then she should have. Just ask Top. That cat could barely walk but it was a friend. I still chuckle at some of the stuff that cat did and endured. Cherish the memories.

It's not 'just' a cat, it's your friend and family member. Sorry to hear this.

Any fury family member is always tough to lose. I have lost a few dogs in the last 2 years and it will never be easy.

Sorry for your loss

It is never easy saying good-bye to a 4 legged family member. We have several dogs and 1 cat. The cat is a blue tort. She is funny to watch. We adopted her from the local SPCA. She picked us. Keith

Cats might not be considered the most manly of pets, but I'm sure attached to mine. I had to have a cat named Victoria put to sleep a few years back.

I ended up with her when my mother died. She brought my mom a lot of comfort while she was ill, and I had really gotten attached to her.

Anyway, my thoughts and prayers go out to you and your family.

26 years of sled dogs and a cat adopted us. never could understand the attraction because cats are so independent...
oh my! I would give my right arm for that cat.

pets imprint our hearts and minds, and make us smile! there is no stronger man that one who can love unconditionally.

a hug sent from new york.
