Nothing concrete yet, no. Could be the module in the distributor tho. Lots of things it 'could' be due to the fact that it sat for a few years. Anyone know what an automatic tranny should run at for temperature?
Thanks Tim, I appreciate it. Thankfully, this thing isn't critical if it runs or not. Just discouraging to work on it for months then have it 'die of unknown causes'.

Good job on the brakes Matt! Sounds like you have a pretty decent job and crew to work with. Can't ask for a whole lot more than that, especially in these times.
Had to run for cover for a little bit a while ago. More tornado warnings. Nothing real close to here tho. Yet. Not even any lightning or rain here, but just a few miles up the road is a different story.

Well on my truck I usually see around 150 just highway crusing, 180-190 towing. I believe that anything over 230 the fluid starts self destructing...
Not sure what a mud truck should run at though, whatcha seeing. Any coolers on it?

Yeah, I have a BIG cooler, (new), with a fan on it just behind the cab. Today, just running on the streets it was running at 210. I can't imagine what it's going to do in the mud. I eliminated the in tank radiator cooler thinking that a big auxiliary cooler would be even better. Wrong again I guess.
