Well, the slow cooker works on just about anything, but the stick still tastes, umm, like chicken
. Oh well, maybe a little catsup. The Sunday tide looks promising. No large waves, no Llamas and Sheep. Speaking of Llamas. How does chaikwa manage to stay in a hotel room when he is traveling with farm animals. I keep getting kicked out. Oh well, nobody gets in much trouble sleeping with fish so I will try again today.

Im off to finished trimming down the tall grass on the front ditch. Bout a 100ft go to and the yard will be in tip top shape.
Try to knock it out early before it gets too hot.

Wifey (now officially retired) is on the road coming back from the daughter's baby shower yesterday.
(I stayed home to cut grass.....good choice)
Watch out for a smallish Hispanic-looking female in a green Landcruiser flyin' low north on I-95....
Headin' out to 'tie on the feed' bag when she gets here.
Gonna be hotter than hades in the swamp AKA DC again today.
Ya'll be safe, and stay in the shade.

Good afternoon all. Had a pretty good day yesterday. Put about 200 miles on the bike with the company of good friends and family. Got absolutely soaked driving through a thunderstorm..
Spent all morning cutting the grass and weed eating. Not ready to head back to work tomorrow.

The last two weeks were not so great, broke my truck etc etc but I got done what I needed to get done.
Went to the digs and started on the lot.
Knocked down the old cabin and reclaimed the pad
Then got the septic in
I also made arrangements to get the well started this week and I'm waiting on an estimate for power.
