Too bad its not cold out now. Fire it up 30 minutes early, and kick the idle up to 1500 or so. Im sure he'd be happy about that. I hate it when people are buttholes like that. There is no need to be that way. My neighbor complained one day about me driving too fast up our subdivision. I drive 35mph up and down our road. Now there are some kids on our road, and I do have to watch, and be careful, but his wife is just worried about her little dogs, and they felt the need to tell my dad that "Your son just flies up and down our road." Dad knows how I drive and he told her that we werent purposley gonna run over her dogs(id never do that), but that if they were in the road, and we couldnt get stopped, then that might happen anyways. Dad already ran over one neighbors dog when he had the goosneck because it ran right in front of his tire. I guess what im saying is that this guy is the same way. Im nice, and always wave. Well I quit waving when they said that, and one night they called the house about something. Wanted to know why I didnt wave anymore. I about crapped myself laughing so hard. If they think their crap dont stink, then they've got something coming to them. Some people, no matter what; just always need something to complain about. They just thrive on it when they have someone to try to get in trouble or whatever. Drives me up the wall. They havent really given us any trouble since then. I told dad and mom if I ever get behind them on the road, and they were polking along that I was gonna pass em for all I was worth if I got the chance. Im sure the top of 3rd gear sounds good echoing off a car as I pass . Oh well. Just keep doing what you are, and if the dummy causes anymore trouble, go ahead, and make sure you do what you can to annoy him.

Eric

This seems to be the most reasonable approach for me..

I hope you get it all straightened out Tyler, If not BearKiller has a good idea brewing..

Exactly what i would do^^^

If all else fails I'll resort to being a pain in the butt but until then I'm gonna try and stay civilized cause I don't want anything happening to my truck or what not. This guy struck me as just crazy enough to pull something. I am going to talk to the landlord tomorrow when I go to pick up some work orders from them. Sure is nice to be in good with the real estate company that owns your place.

well you can get the law involved....say hes cookin meth in his house, thats sure to get the law there quick and get his house turned upside down, hmmmm hes providing alcohol for minors, stealing cable, but ofcourse thats wrong n stuff so yeah ...or flamming dog poo on his door step... pull the meter out of the meter base he wont have electricity for a little bit atleast... if the person had a lawn theres always stabbing bookoos of plastic forks and knives in the yard and breaking them off.....if the person has a trash can hide a car battery in there they wont take it then backed up trash for a week can stink, last but not least.... offinsive adult magazine subscriptions mailed to the person, make sure to get a variety of subscriptions that way the person just cant cancel one subscription.......these are all last resort ideas and shouldnt be taken seriously ..at all....but no seriously im sure if you try them itll be funny as all get out

Move into a trailer house...the rent is about the same (if you find the right deal), more room, no neighbors above or below you, and the only thing you have to worry about is the fact that your house can become a 300mph projectile during tornado season (or a strong gust of wind)! Ok well maybe that last one isn't that good, but i've lived in a trailer for 2 years and the tornados haven't bothered me yet!!

I got a retarded neighbor like this........although I live in a house and he's my next door neighbor. This guy will come over and complain about the stupidest crap when he is the one being annoying.

Right after I first bought the house, my roommate at the time had parked his truck like 1 foot on his side of the property line.........so he comes over banging on my door telling me I need to move the truck NOW!!! So being the nice guy I am and trying to be as civil as possible, I had him move the truck. So now a couple years down the road..........now his friends are parking in front of my house One fourth of July I came home and I couldn't even pull in my driveway........they had parked all along in front of my house........talk about being a

So the other day I come home and guess what.........another car parked there. My girlfriend flips cuz she's had it with him and went over a yelled at his wife........it was hilarious Next day we come home........ANOTHER car parked there. Well this time I went over and told him if he didn't quit parking crap in front of my house then it was getting chained to the back of my truck and drug to the junkyard.

Well to top that off, my dogs that I used to have......ex-wife took them......royally ticked me off one day so I left them outside one night to punish them........well the next day he comes over banging on my door asking if this is going to continue because the dogs were barking all night and kept his wife up...............BOO HOO HOO!!!!! This guy has some major nerve, because he plays his drums all FREAKIN NIGHT which echo's in my house so bad I have to turn the TV on to go to sleep.

I'm about ready to sell and move because of this guy, he is so flippin annoying and cries about everything when he is the one being rude. I'm probably the most quiet neighbor you could have, the only thing that is a little loud is my truck and I try to be as quiet as possible when I come home.

Tyler- not sure what you can do man, I've tried almost everything besides getting the law involved and nothing has worked so far and this has been going on for 4 years now........it is getting so freakin old!!

Um....why are you trying to live different for this guy? Tell him the next time he starts throwing little temper tantrums you'll kick the dogpoop out of him.

Seriously though...buy a house now while it's still a good investment. No more worrying about this kind of crap.

This is why I live in the country on 10 acres, and in the middle. People are such pains. I had this happen to me before at college except I was the one down stairs. I didn't ever say anything but the night they woke me up and my ceiling fan was rattlin that was it. Revenge was mine.

I was driving my 1969 VW Beetle with a somewhat modified motor. Well, I don't think I have to many stock parts left. I backed it up to their door. Reved the motor to the rev. limiter and held it for about 30 sec. I pulled off laughing so hard I could barely drive. I was suprised the windows survived. A few days later I was leaving for work and a guy walked out at the same time. He said, " Man that is a loud BUG".

HeeHee, payback is a edit. They were quiter from then on.

Oh yeah, That guy is a bully. I HATE BULLIES. He would be in a world of crap if I lived their. Next time he does the door beating crap call the COPS. I have no time for people like that.

Why do people like this think you care about what they want?

Complain about him as much as he does you. make up stuff if you have to. Call the cops on him as much as possible, for anything. If he bangs on the wall when you are asleep, cops. bangs on your door, cops. Threats in any way, cops. You said you know the landlord. Tell them what you are going to do and see if they will resolve it. If not, park your truck in front of his door and give him a black cloud bath.

Be sickeningly nice to him, that always makes jerks crazy. Tell him you're very sorry and it won't happen again, then keep doing the same thing. If you call the cops on HIM on a weekly basis he'll move out.

My parents have a neighbor behind them like this. My little brother and his band practice in our garage. The old man calls the cops no matter what time of day it is. I went home once to visit and the cops came to the door for a noise complaint. MY BROTHER WASN'T EVEN THERE!!! The cops told the old man to chill out or they would give him a citation for a false report!

A friend of mine had a car block 1 of his driveways "out in the country". He called the dispatcher on his FD radio and ran a license check on it. He had them send a wrecker out to tow it at the owners expense. Just a thought.

Yea, it's illegal to park in front of any driveway. That works every time...The funny thing is, you can park in front of your neighbor's house as long as you don't block their driveway. If it is outside the curb, it is city property and you can park there. The only way they can gripe is if you are in front of a hydrant, or possibly a mailbox, or if you are too far from the curb. I know this because somebody left a car with 3 blown tires with a doughnut on the front. It was there two weeks before I got mad and called the cops. The guy that showed up looked mad that he had to be there. WOuldn't even talk to me. Car was supposed to be towed after 2 days but a week went by and somebody finally got it.

My roommate has a toyota truck that we mess with parked on the side of the house. They tagged it and came to tow it THE NEXT DAY!!! We went outside and drove it off before the guy could get it on the flatbed. He had to call the cops and tell them it ran and to take it off the tow list! Man this town sucks.

Well if they wouldn't have been sitting outside setting of fire works that night, I would have had them towed because I couldn't even park my truck in my OWN driveway.........but the whole parking in front of my house sucks because their isn't a whole lot I can do about it besides yell at him.

The part that really sucks is that is where I park my everday driven car, so when they park there it either means I have to find somewhere else to park, or park right up on them and hope that I can get far enough that I don't block my own driveway It's really irritating, hopefully soon I'll be able to sell and get me a few acres where I won't have this problem anymore.

Sorry to hi-jack your thread Tyler I just feel your pain!!!
