Being a technology geek, I'd like one. Being a broke tehcnology geek, I can't afford one. To me, its fluff over all. I tend to try to stay one step behind the times, as far as technology. It sounds like I just don't being "in style" but the reality of the fact is, they have the bugs worked out at that point. I originally was going to get a Blackberry 7290 when it first came out. It had a bunch of bugs with it when it came out, though people still liked it, I'm glad I didn't buy it. I'm just waiting for the Curve to be out a little bit longer, and I might likely get that. Why? It has GPS. Yes indeed.
But seriously, the craziness of cell phones is out of control. But its a big business, with a lot of money potential. One I'm thinking about getting back into (I sold Cingular and Tmobile a couple years ago), for this exact reason.

I have this phone but WITH a camera and it's been a great phone so far. They have two different options for this phone...one with a camera and one without so that should help you guys that can't have camera's at work!

I don't like 'em already. I'm an IT solutions provider, and one of clients (the owner) bought one and asked us to get it working with email and all of that. Took my network engineer 3 phone calls to Apple and two different visits to finally get it working after firmware updates and empty promises. Apple and MS have never gotten along well, but I can tell you if you want this thing to talk to an Exchange server, it doesn't like to! Personal may be okay, don't talk a business into it.
Did you try Google before you called Apple 3 times?
Mine works great and syncs perfectly with my Mac...
Plus I'm getting $100 for being an early adopter...
Not to hijack. Well OK, just a little
Would someone please make a phone that lasts more than 6 months? Just a phone, I don't want internet and GPS and **** and all that. I want to make a bleedin' phone call!
Why do you have to sign up for 2 years and get a phone that lasts for 6 months?
I can answer my own question: It's big business keeping us on the treadmill. Buy, buy, buy.
Rant ring tone off....
Even I know I'm not making any sense right now.

I bought a phone in Brunei for $40, new model Nokia, basic, tiny phone, monochrome display, no features, no plan, no sim card, nothing but the phone.
