Introduction of Cannonball Run
So I was thinking the other day that I needed to introduce a couple of old classic movies to my kids. Now that they are getting older and would somewhat understand my sick sense of humor, I pulled out an old classic
CANNONBALL RUN!
Well I was in tears, the kids were laughing and now they want to see the sequals. I can't wait til I show them Blazing Saddles! LOL

careful now... the sense of humor back then was a little different than it is now... you might end up warping your kid, they will be in therapy and youll be visiting under controlled circumstances...
Don't forget "Up The Creek", "Porky's" 1 & 2, The original "Caddyshack", "Paint Your Wagon", "Animal House".
Blazing Saddles is just wrong (not in a bad way) on so many levels. Too bad Mel Brooks doesn't make movies anymore. I think it would be interesting to view something that he would make in the current genre as far as satire goes.

wyoming, new york is where the originator of the CAnnon ball run lives. can't remember his name but he had the old town main street all re done , still has the original gas lamps and post office, drug store and hardware store. wooden sidewalks. some trust fund keeps it maintained. just giving back for having his 'friends' come out and play. they use to tune their classic cars on the side streets. He use to have a BBQ each summer, but he may have passed on or so, or liability vacuumed up another event.
have to check it out later....

Love all those previously mentioned. Funny stuff. Also liked Dumb and Dumber. It was probably the last really funny show I've watched. Super Troopers was good too. Just watched Dirty Rotten Scoundrels again the other day. That had some pretty funny parts too. What about The Jerk? Smokey and the Bandit was good too. Jackie Gleeson was always funny. Lots of Rodney Dangerfield out there too but a little crude too. Stripes, that's a fact jack. Blues Brothers. Vacation series. Pretty much anything with Chevy Chase. Police Academy.
