Insurance Claim - getting the shaft!!

Long Post sorry!
Someone hit me in a accident and damaged one
of my American Racing Tyrant wheels, which are no longer available. The other persons insurance company will not agree to replace all wheels, they want to replace one, so I will be riding on 3 matching wheels and of course one not matching.
They have agreed to pay for one wheel knowing that it is no longer available, so I'm wanting to get pricing for
ONE custom wheel CNC machined. I really want to prove my point and show them that it is in their best interest to buy four matching wheels than to have me get the ONE wheel replaced, since that is what they are actually offering.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Robbie

Talk to a lawyer. If the insurance company is going to play it this way, you need professional nastiness on your side.

Hey, no problem. You accept the amount for the new rim - - PLUS they owe you an appearance allowance for the mismatch. Funny how that allowance is more than three more rims.

Tell him since the accident your back has been hurting and you have been having a hard time sleeping at night and you think you may have to see an attorney for advice,

Your situation is typical for insurance companies trying to save money at the ordinary persons expense.

I agree! Mention the "A" word and see what happens. These insurance are so quick to take advange of you, but try collecting from them, good luck. Nothing replaced is new, usually used or re-furbished or rebuilt.

If you go down to the building where the insurance company is housed and take a look at the mortar holding the bricks together, you'll see it isn't mixed with water. It's mixed with blood.
