the impossible shot

I would like to kick this Memorial weekend off with this video. Think an 84 year old sniper can still hit anything with a rifle? Watch.

I absolutely respect how he positioned himself, fired on his natural pause, did not flinch, blink or pull the rifle, then followed the round to target.

This Country, and world for that matter, will be less of a place when Mr. Gundy and his Greatest Generation colleagues make the final call.

Thanks for sharing I too welled up. My wife has worked at the VA for 20 yrs & I get the privilage of talking to some of our older vets when I go to lunch with her. My neighbor who passed away recently at the age of 93 had great stories to tell as a tail gunner.

My FIL was a B-26 tailgunner in the African theater. May he rest in peace. God bless all the "old timers" that knew how to shoot and did it for God and Country, without hesitation.

Happy Memorial Day to all who appreciate freedom.

To the rest that refuse to accept the concept, rot and burn.
