I'm taking a week off from this place!!!!

Vacation time down in Miami!!

We're heading out in the new cruiser and planning on driving almost non-stop till we get there. It should be fun considering that I have a 4 year old and an 11 month old. We got a Porta-Potty from Camping World and we are loaded down with plenty of food and lots of kiddie movies for the 22" flat screen... Hopefully it will be fun....

Thanks for letting us know I can bring in a dozen less donuts every morning

Have a safe trip and don't try to push it too hard, best to take an extra day and be safe

I'm jealous of your kids. That would be sweet to cruise down there in that. Can I come?

Have fun! Nice cruiser! I just saw one over on E-bay just like it, except this one has a D-max in it.

Schweeeet. Hey, can I rent that cruiser in about a month? We are getting ready to go to 80 hours a week for five weeks and I will definately need a break afterwards. I can just park it in the drive way and pretend I'm on vacation.

Yes we will rent it out when we get back but whoever gets it first has to clean it up from our trip!!
I saw the Dmax van and I really wanted it but that's too much $$$!! They've been trying to sell that one for a long time....
Lary, we are going to try to sleep in shifts so neither of us is driving too long through the night. My friend, who we are going to visit, has made the 18 hour trip several times and that seems to work well for them. Well, gotta work half a day today then we are off. I need a break too. We have gotten pretty busy at work plus we just got done renovating our offices without closing down at all. My brain is very tired.......

Dang ... I've lived in places that weren't as big and nicely equipped as that van !!

Of course you know, we will expect a full report when you get back .... so, you just go on and enjoy yourself buddy and don't give a second thought to us poor unfortunate slobs left behind, drearily slaving away ... you just be blissfully unaware of how miserable we all are while you are out sportin around in your big, beautiful palace on wheels. We'll be just fine .. cough, cough, wheez .... Oooooooohhhhh, I'm feelin a bit woozy.

That one on ebay says it's a 4 spd auto - I thought the Allisons were all 5 speeds, or am I wrong, or are they not putting Allisons behind diesels in vans.... ?

Hey Zilla,

What happened? Did those boys from "Pimp My Ride" get ahold of your van?

Ha Ha!! I think they got ahold of it before I got it. All I can say is that TV/Surround system is Awesome! I can lay down on the rear seat(which also folds out into a bed) and I can still see the TV. I can actually stretch out comfortably with the seat not folded down.... It's nice and it was an E-Bay special from a big dealer in Pa. We got it for about half price of a new unit and it only has 25,000 miles... All Wheel Drive too......

If your driving thru the wee hours & you get sleepy just pull over for about 15 min & take the edge off. But in that comfy looking ride it will probably end up being an 8 hr nap. Drive safe & have fun.
