Well, after a much needed 2 week vacation, I'm back on line. It's been a heckuva a break. Moved the folks into their new house on thursday (pics to come), left friday morning to oklahoma, was there for 3 days, came back, and spent the next week and a half unpacking while the electricians, plumbers, cabinet makers, theater guys, and landscapers worked on the house. I haven't had the internet or cable TV in 2 weeks and I'm dying to get back into it. So yall can rest peacefully at night now that I'm back and ready to unleash 2 weeks worth of useless posts.

Yup. The tranny is still holding and I've been hard on it. Lots of smoke shows and full throttle runs. I did manage to make it slip once. I flipped the lockup switch at about 20mph and floored it and it slipped once and then grabbed. Other than that it's holding great. I need to get it on the dyno and see what it's making. I know it's making more but it feels slower.

that with Tyler back on the post train it will continue to provide longer service, cause it wont be used as much with him makin up time on here.. hehehehehehe

I'm on here about 8 hours a day. I really need to get out more often.

Rick, I'm hoping that a little computer time will give the tranny time to rest. It's hopefully only got another 6 months and 20 days left to live. I have a feeling that the trip to get the DTT will be an interesting experience.
