Mine's an 01.5 too, and I made the final payment in January. I feel the same way. Just wish all the other stuff was paid for too.

I made my last payment the day I bought it. Never been a fan of financing.

Kindof weird how they seem to drive so much better when they're paid off.

Paid mine off a little over a year ago. 200,000 miles and still runs great.

My son's 99 is getting a little iffy at 450,000 miles, and a few trips down the mountain crossways to the switchbacks.

He was trying to justify getting a newer one. Couldn't do it. For half the cost of a well broken in used one, or 1/4 the cost of a new one, he can take his down to the frame, build it back up with fresh parts including a less worn engine, and still have the truck he's been lovin' for 12 years, likely good for another 400G or so.

If a decent 2nd gen pops up, he might opt for that. Electronics is about the only problem he's had other than shelling out the transmixer a couple of times. He's hard on em.

He has the shop space and moxy to do it, so he's going for it.
