Angry I Hate Thieves!!!!!

If you have a pay pal account check it. I just checked mine and some forigener from overseas ordered a $400 gold nokia phone with my pay pal account and took it out of my bank account. I just cancelled my credit card but I'm gonna have to wait to call my bank until the morning because they are closed. This ticks me off to no end.

Welcome to paypal. That happens alot, thats why I don't care to use paypal much or Ebay in general (nothing ****** me off more than getting outbid by 50 cents). Your bank will most likely help you but don't expect ANY help from paypal or ebay.

I dunno. I haven't used pay pal or ebay in a year. The son of a gun also changed my pay pal account password so I know he has all of my information. This sucks. Definately not what I needed on the night before my finals when I'm gonna be stuck in class from 9-3.

Same thing happened to me except my Pay-Pal account was cancelled. Someone reopened the account under my name with my credit card number and purchased a $1500.00 laptop computer on E-Bay. Makes me think it was an inside job. Definitely some shady EDIT. -Glen

I saw a write up recently about people hacking accounts with passwords gained from other sites. Alot of people use the same password for alot of sites. And those other sites take peoples passwords and use them to hack their email, paypal, etc. Always use differnt passwords on all sites. I've been guilty of having one password on 10 sites LOL

I had somebody steal my debit card numbers and they spent about the same amt. Just hope your bank sides with you and doesn't try and screw you like they are me. Sorry, had to vent a little. Hope everything works out.

If you get an "email" from paypal DO NOT CLICK THE LINK!!! Go to paypals website on your own and check it. I get about 5 emails a month from ebay and paypal asking to re enter my info. They NEVER ask you to re enter your info so be aware. Dont give your info to some internet thief

Bingo.. I receive at least 3 or 4 of those "Your pay pal account has been violated" messages each day. I usually have a little fun with 'em and fill in bogus info. Then I report 'em two days later to the provider hosting the website. **snicker**

I never got one of those emails. As it turns out, the sorry SOB's got my bank account number and routing number and what not. My bank is going to reimburse me all of the money and they put a hold on my account so nothing else can go through and when I get back into town today I'm closing the account. Jeez what a pain in the butt.

I refuse to give paypal my banking information. I could care less about being verified.
