It is becoming nonsense. Dana White just isn't professional. he cusses like a sailor on TV, bashes those who don't do what he says, and bashes other organizations. Plus, the droves of the common UFC fan....Knows nothing of MMA, boos when there is a takedown, and thinks matt huges is the baddest man on earth. Plus, Dana white can't sign Fedor. Fedor signed with M-1 who will pay him 10M per fight. He is the best. Now Randy Couture retires from UFC (some think to sign with M-1 and fight Fedor) and dana white politely bashes him.


Pride fighting was a more sportsmans sport. No fairweather fans who boo and throw stuff. Real fight fans who know how important and difficult takedowns and submissions are......



Arrrgggg!!!! The UFC will be WWE in 2 years. By that I mean all about drama and playing to every idiot they can find. mark my words. Dana white has resureccted UFC, but he will ultimatley destroy it trying to play to a larger audience..

got a good point. but you do have to admit that matt hughes at one point was the best fighter and now he has lost it. so you are absolutley right. i havent watch in a while cause chuck liddel is my favorite and when rampage jackson beat him i lost all hope in the show

 

Rampage is good. i like Chuck but it is a shame we all have to get old. Chuck at 37 just doesn't haven't anymore. He is one for the ages though.

 

Not to hijack, but what's up with those creeps on Versus? The big afro and no teeth is not very appealing. If the channel thinks their doing them some good they ought to have their heads examined. Spike had a pretty good thing going for a while, hope they throw some professionalism back into the cage.

 

I've been in Martial arts since a kid and loved the fact the UFC became so popular, but this new season of TUF is just horrible, maybe one ok fight so far, hopefully that changes.

Pride fans boo'd alot when it fighters were grappling, but in Pride the ref's would stand them up right away, where as the UFC they actually get to use there bjj and grappling. I agree Dana is not the most professional president, I think he feels he has to swear to appeal to us younger guys, but really just give us the best fights and show some respect.

Rampage is just a better fighter than Chuck is, thats the beauty of bringing the pride guys over to the UFC. But the only two who took advantage of it were anderson silva and rampage.. Cro cop, shogun, okomi etc, all them haven't had much luck really. But the whole Fedor randy thing was dissapointing, maybe one day... The price they pay the UFC fighters is pretty funny, like 7-14k for a normal ppv fighter, chuck is the exception who got 500k his last fight, but the guys coming from pride are getting alot more.

Dec 29th Chuck Lidell vs Wandelei Silva....... So it's not over yet for chuck, but he did NOT look very good in his last two fights at all.

I am also sorry to see that Dana and his ultimate wisdom could not sign Fedor.
One day Fedor is worth 2 mil a fight to Dana but then doesnt sign so now Dana is saying Fedor is overrated??? Doesnt make sense to me.

Fedor v. Couture will happen in M-1 fighting.
Too bad it couldnt happen in UFC. I can't wait until Fedor drives the last nail in Couture's coffin!

 

couture has 2 more fights on his UFC contract i think, so that fedor fight cant happen for awhile, because in a interview with dana white he said he owned randy until then, lol.

 

Randy was released from his remaining contract.

 

Fedor is a machine isn't he? I think it is wicked how his facial expression never changes during a fight. No matter what is happening. That is some intense focus.

 

UFC has sucked for the past few years, I have been watching since UFC 1. Not on video either, live. It has been a sad downfall. I remember Tank breaking his fist after punch 5/6 of 13 punches, 650Lbs jack hammers.

 

back then the fights were pretty rough, nowdays theres alot more talented fighters, it's just they need more free shows to showcase the upcoming fighters.

 

Im talking about all the stupid rule and calling the fight waaaaaayyyyyy to quick, Hughes Gracie fight and others, Im mean isnt supposed to be a FIGHT!!! Like NASCAR, UFC has sold out and become something I will no longer pay to watch. I get in better bar fights then some of the stuff they put on.

 

I gave that crap up when Shamrock got beat by Ortiz in 40 seconds. Rematch my EDIT... It's all about $'s....Soon enough it'll be as fake as wrestling!

 

They need to bring back all the old school fighters and enough with the new "glamour pretty boy" fighters. What ever happened to the big heavy hitter's like the dean of mean and the pitbull, they barely get to fight anymore. Those were fights.

I'm a big Liddell fan, but I doubt Liddell will fight Silva, he's lost 2 in a row and others deserve a shot.
