Like the others said, great way to pay tribute to HVAC. It's interesting how the words of a song can be just words of a song until they're put together with a touching video like this.

sadly i didnt have the pleasure of knowing him. sure makes u think though when a fella with alot of life still left to live leaves this world so early. gave my daughter an extra kiss 2nite.......hope every1 is well, scott

I came on the internet this morning because I felt like hearing the song by Greenday and thought of this video so I looked it up and watched it again after a year and a half.
I didn't know Nowel, I'm not even sure if I conversed with him here or over at the TDR but I remember his posts and the way he carried himself, he was truley a gift to these forums and to the world of diesels and diesel drag racing. Today is not a special day for any reason but I'd like to use this space to make a salute to Nowel (HVAC) may his memories live on especially for those that knew him personally.

I as well did not have the privalege of knowing this fine man. But I have to say that was one touching video. Thank you for putting it together for us to enjoy John.

This man has with out a dought touched alot of fellow members. But myself I have now idea who he was or what he did. If one of you wouldn't mind could you give me a little insight to who he was and what he did to earn the respect of so many members.

That was a very nice tribute. They say that a true measure of a man is in the way that he is remembered when he is gone ... Nowel was obviously a heck of a man and a friend. God speed, buddy.
