Hunter Safety
It's not just the "gun guys".
Several years ago, A buddy and I wanted to Bowhunt on a local Military Base.
They required each prospective hunter to qualify with broadheads at 30 and 40 yards by shooting 3 out of five arrows at each range into a 6" paper plate.
There were 6 of us in the group.
My buddy had to shoot 7 arrows to qualify, I had to shoot 6, others in the group needed to shoot all 10 to qualify....then there was the ONE guy......
He fired all 10 times, ......NEVER HIT THE TARGET BALE much less the paper plate.
Later found out he bought his equipment from the local Sports Chain store, screwed the sights on at home and drove on down thinking he was going to qualify.
These are the guys we see in the woods when they don't require a Safety Course.
