Now stick a CTD in there and youd have something unique....(dont get excited its been tried, but to no avail)
I guess some folks are finally discovering that overweight, overpriced, gas-guzzling, wanna-be 4X4 with a cramped interior isn't their best choice for a commuter vehicle when fuel prices go over $3.00 a gallon.
IMO the H2's were ugly and ridiculous from day one.
Just saw an H3 last night, still useless, but a little less hideous.
I mean, were not in Seriavo here? Kind of overkill to have such a boxy, military like vehicle to pick up a gallon of milk and a loaf of bread
.
I guess to each his own.
Everytime I see one I think that a guy with a turret mount 50 cal. should be on the roof.
Oh, well. Who's suprised they are not selling? GM iscrap, same as Ford, DC and the other Domestic companies.

Dont forget when your parts is real small ya gotta do something to be a manly man, either that or one just likes to make a "statement" about themselves. One of our salesman had a rental, my first real look inside, your not kidding when you say cramped. It left on a tow truck. It had 14K on it. musta been wornout.
Nothing like owning a real truck, not a wanna/gotta look cool SUV. Funny you never see a hummer pulling a trailer. I laugh at the old ones with the 6.5 diesel. If you want a tractor, just buy one. That is about what they remind me of when I look inside.
Kinda sickening that people actually bought those things for urban use.

HUMMERS ARE WORTHLESS

I rode and drove the REAL Hummer, not that it was a powerhouse but it was a capable 4X4. I didn't have a M2 though, I only had a little ole TOW missile launcher. The interior was a bit spartan, I don't even waste my time looking at the H2/3 line.
Personnally I think the H2/3 are a waste of metal, plastic, and rubber.

4x4 in an overweight and underpowered SUV.. I have seen the big bad H2's stuck before... Perhaps with a supercharger they can be better appreciated.. But what ive seen of H2 and H3, just seems to deter me from the hummer.. its been said before
you cannot beat an original.... they are just killing it with the mini me hummers....

Friend of mine owns an '03 GMC DMAX, nice truck. After retiring from the Air Force he taught ROTC at one our our local high schools. A young female teacher there ran into some money from an inheritance. Guess what she bought the next day, that's right an H2.
Well, my friend had never been in an H2 so he was excited to check it out. Walks out to the parking lot, opens the door, hops in, and, what do you know, its a copy of his GMC (without the DMAX). Needless to say, he was disappointed. She had paid 30 grand more for the H2 than he did for his truck and he got the better engine.
Is GMC/Chevy listening to anyone? Can't imagine buying something that expensive just so I can drive around town looking for new wheels to put on it.
Love live the CTDs. Now that's a REAL truck.
