OK HughesNet users who can't see the DTR forum...

The best answer I could muster from the technical support team was to reference the case number they used to allow me to access this IP address.

Please use this reference number:

Case #19106126.

HTH's...

Let me know if you have any more questions!

Thank You,

Alan

I just ordered mine yesterday. This will help if I have issues. I need to be able to VPN in for work or I get to drive 62 miles oneway in the weee hours of the morning like this morning. I would of much rather been sitting at home, bed head, etc. than have to do this anymore.

Here is what you have to do. You need to turn disable the Turbo Page configuration in the turbo page menu. The site works fine after this.

First go to the ip address of 192.168.0.1.
Next, click on the small figure under the System Info at the top right of the page.
Third, Click on turbo page on the left menu items.
4th, click on turbo page configuration.
5th, select disable and click submit.

Hope this helps Larry!!!!! Works for me.

Thumbs down

Well...

I lost power last night and tried to log on today from home with the infamous "Failure to Connect to Web Server"

I will try what Spooler described when I get a chance.

As you have just found out, as I did, if you power off the dish modem you will have to reset it as I described above. Let me know if you have any issues. I may need to fine tune the instructions...

Note: Where to type in IP address. First open your web browser. Instead of typing in www.dieseltruckresource.com type in the IP address of 192.168.0.1.

My wife says that I don't follow instructions very well. I never use them, but my turbo page does not seem to have the same config layout that I am reading in your post. Do I change the wording and save or it there an actual checkbox that says to turbo or not to turbo?

There is a little circle that when highlighted turns black. Highlight that next to disabled, then click on Submit. If you can't figure it out do this. Hit Control/Alt/Printscreen at the same time. Open your paint program in the Accessories program tab. Click in the middle of the blank sheet. Next press control V at the same time to past the screen in paint. Next save it and upload it to the forum here. Post it in this thread and I will take a look.

Takes one to know one.

Apparently the turbo page is used by spammers and if it is enabled, this website blocks anyone using satellite internet thinking that they are spam.

Update!

Go to your System Control Center.

Click on the wizard next to "What do these controls mean?" in the gray toolbar.

On the left hand side click Turbo Page.

Turbo Page Configuration.

Disable.

Submit.
