A North Charleston woman called police for help but ended up in jail after being arrested for failure to appear in court and marijuana possession last week.

North Charleston police say 20-year-old Clarissa Johnson called them on Thursday afternoon at 5:20 p.m. after locking her keys in her car in the 3300 block of Goldenrod Road.

When police arrived to help, they discovered that the woman had an outstanding warrant for failure to appear in court. After arresting Johnson, police then discovered that she was carrying 1.5 grams of marijuana.

Johnson is charged with failure to appear in court and possession of marijuana

People really ARE that stupid.....I know a guy that had a warrant and went to visit his buddy in Jail...Naturally they run every person through the Computer that comes to visit.....So they let him in and escorted him to his new home

I cant find the article, but some lady near here called the police to tell them that someone was probably gonna report his truck stolen. They were holding the truck until this person paid for their drugs and that the truck wasn't stolen.
The officer told the lady that they would need a formal written report on the deal. They would send an officer by to write up the report. She gave them the address and phone number. The officer showed up and made the arrest.

 

The Police here just caught two men red handed as they graffitied a building......it was the building next to the Police station.

 

Last year one of our Troopers saw a vehicle suddenly start driving erratically, stop and both occupents leaped out of the car acting strangely.
Turns out the passenger was playing with a can of pepper spray and discharged it into the drivers face. They were both drunk, had lots of drug paraphernalia and a handgun. Both were already on probation and are brothers.
