To answer your own question, just look at that thing. It is sooo cool looking. If I had that kind of cash I would buy one.

on ebay they are up around 55k right now. Seems that dealers are cranking them up on the lots. As far as the if you can afford it you don't care about the gas thing, there are a ton of CTD owners jumping ship due to the ever rising diesel prices so that does not hold true to me. Like I said beautiful car but if I were to drop that kind of coin I would buy European for sure, at least that way the value will hold for a while.

WOW! This is gonna be one of those typical new car deals where the dealers jack up the prices so much that they never sell any and the manufacture cuts it from production. So sad. Maybe it will be like the corvette? They know there isnt a big demand or market for them so they just dont build a whole lot and keep the model around for a long time?

Its just a beautiful car and a shame your average joe wont be able to have one. Heck, if they could then it would end up just like a mustang, every red light you come up on there is at least two or three sitting there with you!

I don't think the base models are out yet are they. I would imagine when the non 6.1hemi model comes out things should even out a bit.

Awesome lookin car. I wonder how long before someone puts a big 01 on the door of one and a flag on the roof.

That is an awesome car.

Now they will have to get Barry Newman to do a remake of Vanishing Point and all would be complete.

They only made 6400 for 08 and all are numbererd SRT8 versions. Starting on 09 they will be avaible with both v6s and both v8s and start around 20k like the charger. The 300 charger, and challenger are all the same car with different exterior sheet metal and built on the same assembly line in Canada. If I had the money i would Park one right next to my wifes Charger R/T.
