Holy Bat Brakes Robin
I got this email today. It was titled "Never put the bucket down while in road gear". I thought some things were just that obvious...........well, guess not.

I wish I knew the whole story but the end is pretty clear. I couldn't imagine climbing out of that thing after an incident like that. My heart would be in my feet.

Saw that over on TBN a while ago. I wonder if the thing to rolling too fast and brakes wouldn't stop it, and he went ahead and put the bucket down?
It'd be interesting to know the full story.

Looking at the pictures again, doesnt it look like the tractor was being unloaded off the ramps behind it?
Coming down the ramps too fast, bucket digs in, and whoops!
that would explain why it didnt flip or spin, the center of gravity was already above the bucket....look at the pic showing the cut the bucket made...

Must have been haulin butt when that bucket dropped down, or some other kind of freak accident, its almost cool enough for some yard art though, it will deffinantly make some people stop and think "how the heck did that happen"

I just took for granted the tractor was pulling the trailer down the road when the accident happened I dont think there is any way that tractor could have built up enough speed to have done damage like that in the short length of the trailer if he was unloading I'm not saying it didnt happen like that but if tractor frames were that fragile there would be alot of broken tractor frames laying around. I think being hooked to the trailer is what kept it from flipping over forward and they un hooked it to move the tractor. IDK just my .02
