Now lets think about this... If I am hiding... why would I post that I am?

OK OK, understood, no celebrity would willingly give themselves up. There has to be some celebs that are interested in the same things we are. Where do they get their information? I was just wondering, how many fellow DTR members are high profile outside our little box?

I was on a milk carton once. Come to think of it, I don't think anybody ever claimed me. Alright, before I give up too much clarify, "celebrity".

I'm a celebrity in my own little mind! My truck is a celebrity! It made it into Fourwheeler Magazine. Here is the little right up they did.

Drool Factor
Tye McKee of Arroyo Grande, California, drives 02 ¾ ton Dodge Ram Quad Cab. Thanks to the awesome torque of the Cummins 24-valve engine, Tye makes short work of hill climbs and sand dunes while still averaging 19mpg. The pickup came equipped with a 5-speed manual transmission and 3:55 gearing. Tye added such goodies as a 3-inch suspension lift, a 4-inch AFE exhaust system, a BHAF (big honk’n air filter), Autometer Z-series gauges, a Dr Performance Predator fueling box Stage 1, Injectors (also Dr Performance), and a FASS II fuel pump. Nice Ram Tye! We only hope we don’t paths at the dragstrip. FW

I can peak peoples interest by saying I'm a saddle maker and I won the truck I drive. Other than that I don't even now celebrities outside of rodeo. (Although we where in Ft Worth once when I was like 4 and a guy asked me why I was letting my parents stay up so late, my parents say it was the guy who found the Titanic.)

I'd say probably not much more prestige than baldwin brother level... of course the janitor may be? He might even be at sidekick level. Just don't let on or he'll be demanding tights and a uniform, but I don't think the budget can take that right now...

I've been on the news a few times, (for good stuff), in a nationwide paper a few times, and frequent the local papers. It means zilch, but had to put my 15 minutes of fame in...

Been in Midwest dragracing a time or 2. The National Dragster, Musclecar Review, GM Performance, and the Turbo magazine. Back when I was racing alot. Last time in the turbo mag was 03 when I won the Buick Nats. And I was on the ballot for the rural Fireboard that I was re-elected to it. Other than that just a plain old hillbilly.
