Hey Phox .....

was just looking at your truck pics. a question about your cb antennas.... is where u have them mounted as far back ( towards the cab ) that you could monut them using that mount ?? or was that just your choice ?? id like to have them as close to the cab as i can so i can easily reach out and use the quick disconnect. actually id prefer mirror mounts but the stalks coming up out of the mirror mount are so short that i dont think its possible..... sorry to ramble on. thanks , scott

They are about mid hood.

For some reason, the mount wouldn't fit on the bolts closest to the cab.
Actually, the hood closed down on the passenger side one.
Rather than mess with the hinges to get the clearance, I chose to just mount them on the next available forward bolts.

I've seen plenty of trucks with them mounted back that far, so mine must be unique.

You should be able to make them work right at the base of the windshield.
