it was actually Buffalo Bob and his marionette howdy Dowdy, cowboy genre. yep, they were at my private elementary school for a Christian fundrasier.
ya know- before political correctness. agreed, creepy type doll stuff. but Bob was a veteran, champion of divorced kids (before abused kids) and not even questionable conduct around kids. more solid than Mr. Rogers.
nuclear air raid drills and all that....and despite my outspoken-ness, I am not old.

Hey you guys are bringing back childhood memmories. When I was 6 My folks took me to Bozo the clown show, Skipper Frank show,& Buffalo Bobs show. Thats why I was so tramatized as a kid. LOL I would have had pictures of those times if we didn't loose them in a fire.

Paul Montgomery - Raleigh, NC kids show host known as “Uncle Paul” who hosted “It’s Time For Uncle Paul” on WRAL from 1961 to 1981, who was blind from birth and was also an accomplished jazz pianist, died Dec. 24 after a long illness at age 78.
