Question Hennesy Motorsports

Anyone know how to get ahold of this company?

I have heard good things about them.

A friend of mine is trying to get ahold of them.

Apparently they are in Texas...just west of Houston in Fulshear.

Thanks

Scotty

I have a friend with 2 vipers - - he ordered in a new 2003, drove it around the block, then shipped it to them for $85,000 worth of work on it. Wow, it is awesome. Never could understand why he just didn't get a twin turbo 911, but it's his money.

I've never been to their shop, but I believe I heard John Hennessy passed away last year I think. Racing accident if I'm not mistaken.

Hey Bigman, I'm closer to them than you are.

You need someone to drive a Viper down to Houston for a Twin Turbo Kit?

Hennessey is still alive, it was John Lingenfelter that passed away recently.

Those r the people my uncle ate up and spit out.
Yea that was my uncle that passed away. October of 02 he hit a wall while drag racing. Rushed to ER were he went into a comma he came out of a comma in november of 03 and they did surgry on him and during surgry he went back into a comma and they decided that on christmas day 03 rather then let him suffer they pulled the plug. He surely was teh greatest. I fell when i heard he died. Im sure alot of yall were shocked almost as much as i was. But he did accomplish what he wanted to. And that made him very happy.

Wish people could just come back.

I know a guy who bought a brand new 03 viper and immediately shipped it to Hennessy. His car was the test car for all of their new products. That car is down right wicked. I wouldn't want to mess with him in anything less than a mid to high 8 second car.

I m surprised Hennessey is still alive, from everything I ve heard there are plenty of people that want to kill the guy. There is a substantial law suit.....for sure. Go to the vette forums, or viper forums and ask around. Seems He has a habit of not delivering, and even parting out customer cars to make the bills.......

And they are not that fast....sure some....but for the most part are traction limited to 10's at best.......

What apparently happened, is that there was another guy who had his exact same name and he was taking those people's cars and stealing them. The actual Hennessy did not do that.

What was going on was Hennessey was taking your car, your deposit and nothing happened. Your car could sit there for months on end with nothing happening to it. Basically, he buried himself in work, not refusing anything. Then the stealing from Peter to pay Paul thing started to happen. Your deposit was building someone else's car etc.

He admitted what was going on and settled the lawsuit. Fired a ton of people on payroll and downsized huge time. He is back on track and everyone is happy.

Personnally I would send my Viper (if I had one) to Lingenfelter. He builds some wicked horsepower in the Vipers. You just don't hear much about them because Hennessey gets all the press.
