Help Wanted

Immediate opening for experienced excavator operator. Some travel may be required. Must be able to work in a stressful environment. Road building experience helpful but must be willing to think 'outside the box'...

You guy ever wonder how some roads and hiways get through coastal or mountain passes? Right there, some ballsy Operater has got to pioneer a trail for other equipment to get up there. most of the time its an excavator or dozer .and that guy better be sure of what he is doing because it dont take much to get in trouble fast!and a good beer at the day sure is good

I've delivered fuel to coal mines and job sites for years and it never seems to amaze me on how skilled some of these guys really are. The only part i hate is when it is ME that has to back my truck down some road like the one in the picture to fuel up whatever it is they are using at the time.

Thats Lary building his 'shelter'. He always gets his younger twin to run the cans of fuel up that slope to him. Keeps me in shape.

I have lurked on this thread since it started and that picture gives me some serious pucker every time I see it. Then again, watch the fils about the making of the Hoover Dam and the guys doing the blasting were doing things at least as dangerous and without much protection.

OK - just looked again, still gives me the *******.....

Don't you only get into trouble if you slow down and actually think about what you're doing?
