and BTW I learned this the hard way, batteries can explode during a "jump" start when you remove the booster cables, (if both jumper cables are attached to the battery posts instead of a hooking the negative to a chassis ground)

They are suppose to "de-sulpher" battery and make them last longer, or is this just "snake oil"? I know, Iknow, "Just replace the batteries". I'm just curious, it just seems to be that a battery can last longer if conditions are
