helo operations!!!!
Wow what a blast...
I have been taking harbor patrol and boat operator training.. Today was Helicopter operations and training...
I worked the deck of the receiving boat... a 33 foot moose boat with twin cummins.. receiving the tag line, basket, loading it and getting it back off the deck with a Coast guard dolphine Helicopter 20 feet above my head at 10 knots...
What a kick in the rear...!!!! wet as all heck.. that heli really throws the water around.. 2 hours of this..
Got the Recuse diver to our deck and then up and down withthe basket.. in the end the rescue diver opted to ride back up in the basket instaed of jumping in and doing a water pick up.. SMART guy..
