Knew a guy who did that in an air plane. Hit a cow, took off a main gear and it hit the tail doing serious damage. He was lucky he didn't crash on the spot. He never did find the cow he hit, did find the wheel. One tough beef steak.

Friend of my Dad's has an R22. He has a lot of time flying military but says the R22 is really fun to fly. He uses it for cropdusting (so he can write it off).

I've seen this done before, and the cows were ruined as far as being able to gather and work them with any degree of calmness. Everything was a fight in the pens or trailer...

Having spent my time horse back, I’ve got the knees, back, shoulders and scars to prove it. It just hurts my feelings to see the old ways die off. I’ve helped work cattle on a number of ranches and my observation has been the bigger the ranch the wilder the cattle.
The last one was a little over 10,000 acre and we were moving the cattle off for development to begin. Now the area is now known as Lake Ridge on Joe Pool lake .
But I’m like Blake, I like the fact that I can gather the whole heard with a bucket of feed.
