I was robbed and tied up at gun point when I was about 21 ( about 22 years ago), wasnt seriously hurt, physically any way. The result has been I've been carrying a gun ever since. Had to reach for my pistol twice since but that was enough to fend off the perps. I left California eight years ago so now I can carry legally in Washington and Oregon and I feel a lot better.

Come to Alaska. Don't even need a CCW to carry here. I have carried for years, in several western states, pretty religiously. I started to carry (legally, w/ CCW) in Las Vegas when I was stationed there. Prior to Vegas, I'd only lived in small towns with no crime, and Las Vegas was an eye-opener for me. Been carrying concealed ever since. I don't consider myself paranoid. I just refuse to be a victim. The carry of a pistol is of great comfort to myself and my family. -Steve

Getting back to the original question....

I have had a full size USP 9 for about 9 years. It has the smoothest action of ANY unmodified, off the shelf handgun I have ever shot. Silky smooth.

You don't need a CCW in AZ either and your fingers aren't to frozen to pull the trigger either.

USP

I love my USP-45 and I have a few to choose from, I have a Colt 1911, Smith & Wesson, Ruger, Intertek, and the H&K. This one has the best feel and the slickest action of all of them. When you have them apart you can see the quality inside also. The H&K grip feels alot more secure in my hand than the 1911 does and I have yet to have it stovepipe, Wish I could say that about my Colt. I still need to get the suppressor.. I mean comp brake for mine yet.
