Strange as it may seem but there is actually a practically hidden backbone of really good, hard working, rational people in California.
Many of them are even (GASP) NRA members.
It still boggles my mind that so many people from Bizarro World have managed to get the political upper hand in what would otherwise be a great place to live.

It's because we LET them have the political upper hand. If enough people had a decent amount of organization and resolve, and stuck together, these things wouldn't happen. The idiots could make all the mandates they wanted to but if the majority of people refused to follow them, what would be the outcome? 3 million people in jail? I don't think so!
