Wow. While I wouldnt buy one for my kids (if I had any young ones) because of the plastic pellets it is still unbelievable. ATF...no comment. Wild!

Those things are a kick in the pants. LOTS better than popbottle rocket tag or roman candle tag!!!
They don't hurt as bad as paintball's either, and you have more rounds to fire!!!

See!! I made a snap judgment on them because I havent ever used one. I just have been camping in some areas that were littered with plastic pellets and didnt like it because I would come back a year later and they were still there. I dont even know if they were from those guns. Guess I will have to try one out.

I've followed this on forums over at "TheHighRoad" and the owners have already countered with a huge list of modifications that would be needed for these AirSoft guns to be converted to fire real ammo.
The ATF is going to get egg on their faces for this *if* it ever really gets put into the spotlight of truth.

^^^^ Ya like, lets see here, a breech capable of withstanding the operating preasure of a bullet, a barrel that would do the same, a firing pin, a loading mechanism...
So if you take an airsoft gun and remove the 'upper' and replace it with an ar-15 upper, then take the lower receiver and replace it with an ar-15 lower, then ya I guess you could actually convert it to a weapon capable of firing brass ammo.
Who the heck are these people and where do they find them.
