Happy Thanksgiving all
Let me be the first to say Happy Thanksgiving and everyone have a safe drive if you are going to be driving. I will be heading up to In. to my In-laws Wed night and coming back home Saturday afternoon.<br><br><br>Hey I am very thankful for this site<br><br><br>Here is something that I got on the work email chain 8)<br><br><br> TWAS THE NIGHT OF THANKSGIVING, <br> BUT I JUST COULDN'T SLEEP <br> I TRIED COUNTING BACKWARDS, <br> I TRIED COUNTING SHEEP. <br> THE LEFTOVERS BECKONED <br> THE DARK MEAT AND WHITE <br> BUT I FOUGHT THE TEMPTATION <br> WITH ALL OF MY MIGHT <br> TOSSING AND TURNING WITH ANTICIPATION <br> THE THOUGHT OF A SNACK BECAME INFATUATION. <br> SO, I RACED TO THE KITCHEN, FLUNG OPEN THE DOOR <br> AND GAZED AT THE FRIDGE, FULL OF GOODIES GALORE. <br> GOBBLED UP TURKEY AND BUTTERED POTATOES, <br> PICKLES AND CARROTS, BEANS AND TOMATOES. <br> I FELT MYSELF SWELLING SO PLUMP AND SO ROUND, <br> 'TIL ALL OF A SUDDEN, I ROSE OFF THE GROUND. <br> I CRASHED THROUGH THE CEILING, <br> FLOATING INTO THE SKY <br> WITH A MOUTHFUL OF PUDDING <br> AND A HANDFUL OF PIE. <br> BUT, I MANAGED TO YELL AS I SOARED <br> PAST THE TREES.... <br> HAPPY EATING TO ALL - PASS THE <br> CRANBERRIES, PLEASE. <br> MAY YOUR STUFFING BE TASTY, <br> MAY YOUR TURKEY BE PLUMP. <br> MAY YOUR POTATOES 'N GRAVY <br> HAVE NARY A LUMP, <br> MAY YOUR YAMS BE DELICIOUS MAY YOUR PIES <br> TAKE THE PRIZE, <br> MAY YOUR THANKSGIVING DINNER STAY <br> OFF OF YOUR THIGHS. <br> MAY YOUR THANKSGIVING BE BLESSED!! <br><br>

I remember one time having Thanksgiving up here in Canada in October. Then I went on a trip south and at one truck stop I saw all these turkey decorations and a special on Thanksgiving. I was thinking...no doubt its on special...its old!<br>That is when I realized that the USA and Canada have different dates for their Thanksgiving.<br><br>Anyone know why?<br><br>Everyone have a great holiday!<br><br>Scotty

Hey, you all have a Happy Thanksgiving and be safe out there. I'll be staying home, guarding DTR from any insidious takeovers by you know who. >

For those of you going on the road for the holiday ... be safe !! I hope to see you all posting soon.<br><br> I am planning on taking the camp trailer to the Everglades campsite for the weekend. Just gotta figure out how to take the dogs (A Bassett Hound and a Chihuahua) out for a pee without becoming an alligators Thanksgiving Day "Turkey". Dang things come right up to your campsite [undecided].<br><br>PISTOL
