Holy Crap Mark! You forget to pull the ripcord?

Glad you are feeling better, lucky you landed where you did, you always were one of the dead end kids

Yeah, I think I forgot a few things at that specific moment in the space time continuum... I am lucky. Could have been neck or head...

Mad, glad you're alright. You aren't living if you're aren't still getting banged up like a young kid. Heal up, down the OJ. Get better at that 4-wheel thing

Since you already have protective gear........

ask your wife to kiss your butt to make it better. (hehehe Go Angie! )

my son and i have each worn our polaris 500 sportsman..like I told him then, anything with a motor means you will go to the hospital at some point...
experience is the best way to get someone to slow down.

yes, have fun Madson!!! under control! watch that spine/landing thingy too

Oh boy - - I can imagine the rest of that series of pictures - - not pretty. If landed on your butt, you can be thankful nothing is broken. Did an end over end on 1/4 mile dirt track when I was 19yo - - did seven flips. I kicked my 5th lumbar out of whack and have had periodic problems with it ever since. That is what I am having right now. Have to wear a back support when lifting and working in the yard. I guess 90 bags of mulch loading in the truck, then unloading hauling them their designated location, digging out plants from winter freeze, planting new ones, trimming, crawling under hedges pulling weeds for 11 hours a day for several days in a row was not a good idea. But, the weakness is all from that stupid accident many years ago. So, be thankful big boy, no matter how big and strong, it can happen in the hurry. Glad you didn't get any damage other than a black butt. .............. Sorta like going over the handlebars on the motorcycle at 40mph. Another ouch. ....

Ha ha... Heidi... I kiss Angie's butt... not the other way around.

I've changed my respect for that quad. Man, that thing will get it! Maybe I'll take the video camera out next weekend.

Bobby... in 50 more years when I'm your age ( ) I'll look back on this and know why my back hurts.

I feel your pain. Ive been there more times than i can honestly remember(slow learner). Only one trip to the hospital. First time with my DS650 in the snow and cought some deep snow with the right side of the machine at abought 40 MPH and it twisted teh machine around 90deg to the direction of travel and sent me and it into a nice little barol roll. I landed on my left elbow on frozen ground and now 11 years latter I can still feel the pain if i twist it wrong or over use it. I thought I had broke it but after a exray they said I only chipped teh joint and had severe swelling. My arm turned black as can be and swelled till the skin was abought to burst for a couple weeks. One other time that still hangs with me was on my 1 month old 700 Raptor. That thing was a blast. It would pull the front end up in 1st-4th. One day I was riding around a old gravel pit and decided to start doing 4th gear weleis in teh bean feild rite next to it. In 4th at around 40mph I could stand up lean back and stab the throtle and the front would come up. I was going back and forth riding acrross the feild with the front in the air and accadentaly went over backwards . It started draging the grab bar and just sliding along on that with the nose straight in the air. I couldent get to the rear break to slap the front back down so I had no choise but to sit and ride it out till it stopped. abought as soon as I thought I may be able to ride it to a stop the machine twisted 90deg and tossed me off landing directly on my but with my feet in the air going sideways. The impact slipped my hip out and now 6 years latter I still have to go to the ciropractor once in a while to get my hip put back in cause it will just slip out for no good reason.

Have fun tackaling that hill. I always did the same thing. If it got me once I would go back and tackle it. perhapse thats part of my slow learning problem but it was always fun. Be carfull.
